This latest project for Optegra was to take a former American Diner, complete with bar and kitchen and create a clinical environment for the people of Preston.
The works involved a complete internal strip out, back the shell of the building. We then formed a new layout with a new electrical installation from the incoming supply, new mechanical installation including a new air handling unit to serve clinical rooms. All new finishes, furniture, automated sliding entrance door and just to be sure, we overlaid the existing roof with a new single ply membrane.
Due to Optegra’s need for a fast track programme we commenced on site with minimal design time and lead-in, yet still delivered a snag free project, completed 17 weeks later.
